Meaning of Quote : “Judge a man by his questions rather than by his answers”

This Quote was written by Voltaire.

What Voltaire probably means by this quote is that a man’s logical thinking cannot be evaluated by the answers he gives.

Also, question can be asked by anyone but to ask a good question you need to be a good listener. And being a good listener is a quality of a man! and its difficult to find such people because everyone is buzy bragging about their knowledge.

Asking a question, is a more complex process that includes making questions and asking them when the time is right, and in the right way.

Knowledge does not come from the answer, it rather comes from the questions one raises that consequently leads to giving the right response.

Intelligence can be better spotted this way.
